Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Article Trainee to join our Chartered Accountant firm. The role offers comprehensive exposure to accounting, auditing, taxation, and compliance functions, providing a strong foundation for professional development in line with ICAI requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in audits and tax audits across diverse industries
Support preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns, GST returns, and other regulatory compliances
Conduct accounting, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation
Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and variance analysis
Assist in drafting reports, documentation, and audit working papers
Stay updated with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Eligibility Criteria:
Registered under ICAI for Articleship (IPCC / Intermediate cleared – either group or both)
Strong understanding of basic accounting and taxation principles
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally) preferred
Skills & Competencies:
Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
Professional integrity and willingness to learn
